As more people get added the more complicated genealogy becomes and the harder it is to understand everyone’s relationships. To you and to each other.
Even the tree below has 6 x Janet’s, 5 x William’s, 4 x Mary’s and 3 x Thomas’s! AND That’s not including their siblings or children!!

I have uploaded this tree so that you can see their relationship to me but I have also entered the number their story relates to for reference. Hopefully this will help keep the piece’s together.
As you can see this tree goes up to person no. 31 (Janet Hamilton – she is my great gran’s – great gran) and this will take me over the half way point. This also shows there are 16 people in the 8th Generation and therefore there will be 32 people in the 9th Generation. I have at least one piece of information on every person, and therefore a story (I hope) for each of them! This takes me to 63 weeks…..we can then go onto 10 generations and beyond.
As we get into the 1700’s information is limited and the detail just isn’t always out there so how this projects ends I haven’t managed to work out yet but the first 31 weeks will take you back over 200 years and give you an insight into each and everyone of their lives.
